Go Renegades!

Betsy got to go to her first hockey game tonight--Richmond Renegades versus the Knoxville Ice Bears. She even got to spend it in high style up in the Afton box thanks to Dad's work. None too impressed by the game, she slept through the entire match (even when they fired the cannon to mark the goals).

PaPa Bob and Baths
PaPa Bob and Nonna stopped by today and Betsy really had fun visiting with him. There are some more, really great pictures with Nonna over on Flickr.

Then, Betsy got a bath from Mom and Dad in the bathroom sink. It really is one of her favorite activities and Mom and Dad are so grateful!

A Special Treat
Betsy had her second doctor's appointment today and she was very well behaved until the nurse gave her her first shot! Ouch! Little Miss B is also getting chunky; she now weighs 9lbs, 4oz and is 20 inches long. We hope you enjoy a little "live" Betsy.

Mommy's Little Helper
As much as the strange babbling brook and bird sounds that come out of this thing may sound to me, they are apparently a very powerful baby sedative. All hail Graco!

It looks like Betsy has the same opinion of World of Warcraft that her mom does!

Kisses
Nonna came to visit Betsy and babysat her while Mom got a much needed haircut.

One of Nonna's co-workers bought Betsy this wonderful car seat cover. It's been great now that the weather has gotten cooler. Thanks, Diane!

Baby Slingin'

You might be asking yourself some of the following questions: What is Ben wearing? Why the sour look? Oh, and where's the baby?

That's because you've just caught Mr. Mom in action, not only cleaning house, but baby-wearing. Don't worry, honey, we won't tell your friends!

Two Weeks Old!

At the grandparents' request, I've opened this blog for them to watch her grow and change daily. I've got the photos available from her birth to today, so I'll be backlogging those as I have the time.

The Myton family: Oma, Nate, Mom, Betsy, Dad, and Opa.

Nonna's Shower
The wonderful ladies (and Melvin) at PSI decided to host a "Grandma Shower" for Nonna. Mom drove Betsy and Oma down to Hampton for the event. Everyone was so gracious and the gifts were overly generous, but Mom has a sneaking suspicion that those ladies like the color pink! ;)

Afterwards, she and Opa enjoyed a well deserved nap!

Oma, Opa & Uncle Nate
This evening Betsy got to meet her Oma and Opa (Ben's parents). They were absolutely enamored and will be here until Friday.

Betsy also got to meet her Uncle Nate. He seemed a bit unsure at first, but who could resist this baby?!

Snoozing

Betsy's carseat is about the only place she'll sleep, so here she's catching a cat nap in the adorable outfit Eryn and Dave gave her.

Photo Session
Today we went to visit Eryn and Dave so that Eryn could take pictures of Betsy. Gatsby decided that he wanted to ride in the carseat too.

Betsy was so well-behaved and she's so ridiculously cute that Eryn got some really beautiful photographs. You can see the full album here.

Tummy Time

Looking a bit like an alien, Betsy is practicing holding her head up and using her arms. She's surprisingly strong and often holds her head up without assistance.

Dad's Back to Work
Today Dad had to go back to work. He missed out on some very cuddly baby and puppy action, but we made sure to email him pictures so he wouldn't miss us too much.

My Due Date
Today is Betsy's actual due date and the first day of 2007. Mom and Betsy slept through the ball drop, but Dad assured us it wasn't any different than previous years.
